We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Cybersecurity Leader – Security Operations and Incident Response to work in our Shared Data & Technology Team. In the role you will focus on helping us to develop our capabilities to monitor cyber risks across IKEA and to automate our IT controls and incident response process..

About the role

We are looking for someone to lead and frame on assigned scope the development of the capabilities to detect, prevent and monitor cyber risks for IKEA but also the capabilities to automate our response to such risks.

With your peers you will contribute to define and roll-out the information security and data privacy approach and roadmaps across IKEA. You will support the process of establishing an incident response process that allow to share threat intelligence and to collaborate to address risks across IKEA value-chain.

You also participate in developing our portfolio of capabilities and services to be offered across IKEA value chain to address security and privacy challenges.

More specifically, in this role you will be accountable for: 

  • Lead the agenda to develop capabilities to detect, prevent and monitor cyber risks across IKEA and to automate IT controls activities and our incident response process.
  • With suppliers and franchisees align incident response process and develop communication channels, processes and capabilities to secure end-to-end crisis management process and information sharing mechanisms in case of incidents or alerts related to information security or data privacy.
  • With the help of a network of expertise across IKEA develop a comprehensive approach to detect and monitor cyber risks across IKEA but also to secure that point-of-contact are identified across IKEA and suppliers to handle incidents and alerts.
  •  Act as a point of contact for in case of security incident or data breach and support the actions to investigate and also to mitigate identified risks.
  • At any time, act as an ambassador of IKEA values and role model for fact-based business leadership 
  • Contributes to professional and long term relationship with franchisees and other IKEA companies through IKEA way of doing business, based on co-operation, trust and transparency.

In this role you will report to our Group Information Security Manager in Shared Data & Technology  and work closely with Cybersecurity leaders across Inter IKEA Group to lead towards uniformity and commonality, contributing to the Inter IKEA security and privacy approach to secure IKEA in a connected value chain.

To be successful in this role, we believe you are a strong cybersecurity leader with experience with security operations and incident response,  able to inspire and mobilize people towards clearly set objectives. 

We expect you to have a very good knowledge about information and cloud technologies with a specific focus on security operations and incident response concepts, methodologies, ways-of-working and frameworks. You have hands-on experience in implementing protective and detective capabilities in a the context of global operations, in an hybrid environments with IT environments managed by very different service providers. Ideally you also have the experience on automating IT controls or incident response process. You are comfortable with agile project methodologies and modern IT operations approaches, specifically you are familiar with DevSecOps approach
We are looking for a visionary, pragmatic and adaptable cybersecurity leader with strong willpower. You like to deal with ambiguity and want to contribute to build new capabilities. You are curious and able to build relationships in order to establish strong trust between the security community and its stakeholders. It is also necessary that you carry natural credibility and you have a proven track record of reaching stretch targets. You are an energetic and collaborative leader who has a very good knowledge of IT and digital organisations, strategies and working methods. This position is full time and is located in Malmö, Sweden or Delft, Netherlands. Travels, mainly to Sweden/Netherlands, will be required.
