Job description


Simply because you are passionate about driving business value by designing ways of working and supporting our business to meet internal standards as well as laws and regulations by understanding risks and how to effectively mitigate them in a business environment. You are super good in defining plans turning them into a living reality. You also have extensive knowledge about risk factors in information systems, data and technology projects. In the position as Compliance & Internal Control Leader you are good in driving strategy efforts to achieve long-term goals. Building trustful relationships is something you enjoy and are good at as well as that you get inspired by working in a vibrant and multi-dimensional environment. Since our world is constantly changing you need to be flexible, pro-active and comfortable handling unclear or unpredictable situations. We also think you are experienced in driving change and understands the mechanism behind that to achieve results. That also means that you are good in communication and inspiring others as well as being a team player and showing the good example. We also want you to have: • a university degree and/or proven knowledge in the field of internal control and compliance or similar • a minimum 10 years of experience in the field of internal control and regulatory compliance • experience from a multinational organisation Of course, you share and live the IKEA culture and values and have a genuine interest in home furnishing.


As a Compliance & Internal Control Leader, you will ensure that risks are managed by efficient internal control measures and business is conducted in a risk aware and compliant way throughout Ingka. This position is global. Amongst other tasks you will: • develop strategic and tactical objectives that are aligned with business needs • drive and secure the integration of Business Risk & Compliance as part of the business strategy, projects and initiatives • lead the development, maintenance and implementation of the integrated Compliance and Internal Control Framework • validate Compliance Year plan • lead and inspire a risk and compliance performance mind-set This position will report to the Risk Compliance & Internal Control Manager and will be placed at our office in Malmö.
