About the job
You will be responsible to develop service operations, delivering a total services package that exceeds our customers’ expectations. Working together with the country and regional fulfilment team, you will develop the service operations in the country to secure long-term growth within agreed budget(s).
Responsible for the development of the service business, including sourcing projects/ initiatives and driving improvements in service quality and building good relations with contracted service providers/ suppliers in the Philippines.
Bring knowledge of the transport and services markets in the Philippines and use this knowledge to support purchasing and business development activities. Understand the customers’ needs when it comes to services in the country, and work towards a service package set up to accommodate these needs.
Commercial responsibility for negotiating and implementation of all service business contracts. In collaboration with stores and service providers, ensure a scalable operations meeting the future capacity requirements.
Manage a portfolio of contracts with different service providers and different services related to customer fulfilment
Analyse and monitor market opportunities, sustainable solutions, developments, competitors and trends.
Ensure that all external service providers work ethically and in compliance with IKEA standards and external laws/rules, including legislation relating to risk, sustainability and health and safety regulations.
Good experience in transportation & service sourcing in Philippines
Strong negotiation skills when working with external service providers.
Good knowledge of Fulfilment operations and processes with a particular focus on the transport and services processes.
Ensure customer-focus is maintained and prioritised.
Knowledge of IKEA SEA’s project management methodology.
Know-how to analyse existing ways of working and determine opportunities to develop new ways of working.
