About the Job
Reporting to the IT Manager IKEA Southeast Asia, this role involves anchoring, managing and executing local IT deployment, system administration and users support to deliver IT strategic improvement initiatives for our Service office and Stores. You will drive IT Operations including IT infrastructure and applications support in alignment with IT policies & standards, and legal requirements meeting effective IT Compliance and Governance principles.
You are to provide IT support to the Business (Stores and Service Office included). Ensures that business applications, Network/Server infrastructure maintained at a high level of availability, resilient and high performance. You need to work closely with Store management for new business initiatives and priorities.
You will also be responsible for:
Ø Day to day operations - Service desk requests/escalations/monitoring/reporting
Ø Daily maintenance & monitoring of business critical application and Infrastructure à Microsoft Active Directory, VMware 6.5, Citrix 7.5, Backup, Microsoft SQL, Load balancer, Cisco Network (Core/Access) and Firewall technologies
Ø IT administration & management, planning, solution deployment, operations and compliance.
Ø Make sure all EUC/Servers are up to date with firmware/ Anti-virus & Microsoft patches
Ø Be the point of contact on local IT matters incl. regular catch up with Store manager, BNs and CR
This position requires you to be someone who is highly committed with a strong passion, drive, service orientation and problem solving mind-set of using technology solutions to deliver business results. Possessing IT management background with effective IT operations and project management experience, you come with solid experience in successfully leading technology deployments to support business, enable its growth, deliver IT value and manage IT risks with business perspective. You should be excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills, good communication and influencing skills.
In addition to a tertiary qualification (Degree in computer science, engineer or related IT field), you possess a Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE) certification with at least 6-8 years working experience in supporting IT Operations (Infrastructure/Applications) incl. Server/Storage/ VMWARE, Citrix XenApp and Microsoft Servers & Networking (LAN/WAN/WLAN/Firewall). Knowledge of Azure Cloud, VEEAM Backup, Retail IT technologies incl. Navision, LS Retail POS, and MS SQL technology would be of considerable benefit.
