You are an inspirational leader who can energise, motivate and lead your team of dedicated co-workers to provide a safe and secure environment for our customers and co-workers. You will lead, manage, coach and support your Safety & Security Team and are experienced with advising and influencing key stakeholders and business partners on best practice. You have a passion for Safety & Security, and you will drive this message within the store and maintain a consistent positive customer experience. You can adapt to change quickly and possess the ability to multitask and prioritise within a dynamic environment.
As the Safety & Security Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: • Securing effective best practice safety systems in conjunction with delivering the lowest possible loss prevention for the store. • Monitoring internal and external IKEA related incidents and driving a culture where all co-workers accept responsibility for safety and security in their day to day workplace. • Coordinating with the store's Emergency Response Team to manage emergency cases and thus provide appropriate action according to the IKEA Emergency Response rules. • Providing support to the different functions within the store by analysing risks and enabling change within the business. • Maximising the store's profit by working actively to reduce operational incidents of loss by managing insurance reports and claims, reducing fraud, and securing and protecting IKEA assets.
