• You have extensive knowledge in handling of damaged products and furniture assembly.
• You have good understanding of merchandising techniques and how to create a commercially attractive sales area.
• You have a passion for IKEA products and home furnishing.
• You’ve worked with material handling equipment before (or are very open to learning about it!).
• You enjoy working in a team, as well as interacting with other functions.
• You can prioritize, are disciplined, show initiative and have a flexible attitude.
• You are totally cool working in a physically demanding, fast-paced, work environment.
• Computer literacy.
• Good knowledge of English and Slovenian language.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Secure sustainable ways of working throughout the whole recovery process.
• Contribute in the recovery and quality forums to enable knowledge and competence sharing.
• Use common working methods, processes and tools related in Recovery process.
• Be a speaking partner to ensure the prevention is focus in entire store.

OUR TEAM WITHIN IKEA

Our task is to contribute to the growth and long-term profitability of the IKEA store through systems and methods for lowering costs, increasing quality perception, handling quality matters and maximizing profit.

This is done by:
• Focusing on the decisions regarding which returned/damaged products can be put back on the shelves and which cannot, and how to responsibly and sustainably handle those that cannot.
• Properly process products that can be given a second chance, ensuring presentable and proper packaging, assembly, pricing and labeling.
• Proactively partner with other internal departments to minimize their internal damages and waste.
• Proudly display IKEA products in the designated section, ensuring displays are clear and attractive.
• Always consider the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover our products.
• Support the team and with additional duties, as required.



IKEA South East Europe is an exciting and empowering region with great growth agenda in all countries – Croatia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Ukraine. We currently operate 4 stores and we will open 2 new ones in the upcoming period.
