Internal Audit Leader

You are a passionate and hands on professional with broad understanding of soft controls, risk management, internal controls and internal audits and you should have minimum 7 years of proven experience as internal and/or IT auditor. You can demonstrate leadership and have stakeholder management experience. You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to describe complex issues in a structured and comprehensive but simple way. You are an open minded team player and you are proficient in English. As a person you are flexible, pro-active, comfortable handling unclear or unpredictable situations and have strong analytical and critical thinking ability. Change management is part of your experience. You have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships with high level of integrity and you enjoy working in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment. And, of course, you share and live the IKEA culture and values and have a genuine interest in home furnishing.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As Internal Audit Leader, you report to the Group Internal Audit Manager. You prepare the audit plan for Ingka and reflect on the quality of Ingka Group's IT and management control frameworks related to the Ingka objectives. You monitor the effectiveness of improvements implemented by the auditees as a result of the performed audit. Internal Audit is part of the Business Risk & Compliance team. We are looking for a strong leader with the vision and passion needed to support the new Internal Audit function in line with our ambitions. Your focus will be on the digital/IT developments in our company. More specifically this means: • Develop an internal audit plan to support the achievements of Ingka goals in general and for Ingka Digital and IT more specifically. • Compose an effective and efficient audit team out of internal and external resources to meet the audit objectives within time and budget constraints. • Develop a reference matrix in line with the audit scope to have a clear understanding of the ‘to be situation’ to align with all stakeholders. • Develop a work program to specify audit techniques and methods to get an understanding of the effectiveness of key controls. • Develop and maintain an effective work relationship with senior management, working closely with functional leaders in conducting analyses to identify problems, determining root causes and recommending appropriate solutions. • Manage the execution of the audit through the work program, leading and coaching the team. • Finalize the final audit report, including follow up on recommendations and action plan. • Evaluate the audit performed and finalize the document files in the supporting IA-tool (Metric Stream).
