A day in your life with us:
The core task of the Regional Marketing Manager is to be a strong contributor to the country management team, lead the marketing team, develop marketing strategies, and secure they are executed in the most effective and efficient way, in order to fulfil the purpose of the marketing function. The IKEA country marketing manager covers all areas in that market or markets, external communication, IKEA FAMILY, web channel as well as local marketing and commercial PR (when applicable)
Identify and drive the positioning opportunities brand position and competitive position life at home and home furnishing interest
Identify and drive the visitation opportunities
Engage the management team, stores, and colleagues in seeking new business opportunities through fact-based consumer/customer insights (i.e. business plan process).
Develop the marketing plan and lead its implementation by setting and achieving the positioning and visitation goals within existing business and financial frames
Be in charge of the overall marketing communication in order to touch the many people’s hearts and minds.
Securing consistency in all our marketing communication solutions, alignment with the IKEA Concept and IKEA Brand guidelines and efficient and effective use of media
Be in control of the marketing budget, measuring all marketing metrics, identifying cost efficiencies, monitoring and following up all marketing investments Lead and manage the marketing team by ensuring the necessary resources, processes and ways of working managing and developing people (competence and succession)
Demonstrate leadership by example in ways that express the IKEA values within and outside IKEA operations
Work on other tasks and projects as assigned that will contribute to the development of IKEA retail operations (i.e. regional, country or local initiatives)
Who are you ?
Post Graduate or Degree in Marketing with atleast 6-7 years of relevant experience
Experience of creating and implementing fact-based strategic plans, setting budgets, and following up goals
Proven ability to work with creative advertising/communication processes/agencies
Experience in effective and efficient use and measurement of all media (paid, owned, and earned)
Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English
Proven ability of having made a difference in positively influencing the business result

This position is full-time and is located in Kuwait. Some travel may be required.
