About the job
Being the Market Representative you will be responsible for multiple things. You will take the indirect leadership in the market team to ensure the suppliers have goods ready in time and in full in order to fulfill customers’ needs at the lowest price. You will achieve excellence in running operations in accordance with the IKEA Components Plan, by interacting with respective stakeholders and complying with working methods. Within the Marker division of IKEA Components, you will enable consistently high and stable availability for our supplier customers.
About the Assignment
You will be responsible for Home Furnishing Suppliers on an operational level
You will be responsible for maintained level Home Furnishing Suppliers – orders, deviations, claims, forecast, UTG, scrap, price lists and securing all system updates
You will collect information and share with relevant internal stakeholders, in order to maintain the business
(mainly Demand Planner, Need Planner, Supply planners, Packaging planners, Transport and Warehouse)
You will prepare and secure General Sales Agreement
You will be responsible for the operational part of item life cycle in the sample-, order- and price process with basics in place from start up to discontinue
You will prepare documents necessary for custom clearance based on templates, according to request from IKEA suppliers
You are highly interested in understanding the reality of the IKEA Components business. You enjoy operational tasks that contribute to developing the Components business and delivering results.
You have strong knowledge of Economic or Financial experience
You have strong knowledge of IKEA components range and business set-up
You speak fluent in English
You are proactive and analytical
You are customer and service oriented
You can create and support a good working relationship with suppliers and other supply chain colleagues
You are capable of dealing with multiple tasks under time pressure
You have strong communication and ability to work through others
