We’ve embarked on an exciting journey to transform our shopping centres into destinations always anchored by IKEA, and that go way beyond shopping, offering a carefully selected series of activities, events and initiatives tailored to the needs of the communities that surround them. That’s what we call “Meeting Places”.
We have big plans for the future that involve expanding to new locations, opening smaller-scale concepts closer to the city centres, digitalization of a typically physical experience, and most of all, living up to shared sustainability goals.
We are currently looking for a Sprint Leader with primary focus on identifying, testing and implementing new sustainability and health & wellbeing related concepts, services and business models with strong commercial value. You will play a crucial role in transforming new business ideas into practical value-added solutions. Other potential areas for ideation/exploration/development might be added to this assignment.
As our future Sprint Leader, you provide leadership and coaching to cross-functional teams. You are passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation. You take ownership for making things happen and you are motivated by driving outcome & performance. Creating Structure, solving complex tasks and translating them into simple solutions energizes you.
We believe you have senior level in leading agile teams, processes, and methods. You gained experience from working in an innovative and entrepreneurial business area, preferably within retail.
You have knowledge of: • enabling business change by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to customers in a continuous delivery process • rapid and flexible working processes and software development under which requirements and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organizing cross-functional teams • how to convince people and embrace changes, seize opportunities, generate and challenge ideas • monitoring and understanding all innovation trends, and communicating them inside the organization to be able to develop new competences linked to them and use them in the future
You will: • set the Sprint (Fit for Purpose team’s) direction and be responsible for overall sprint management and delivery • determine the agile cadence of the sprint, including the expectations and behaviors that will be required, deliver coaching to ensure sprint strategy is executed and objectives are met • monitor and modify project schedule, develop and review project status and reports • ensure adequate resource allocation to the sprint (e.g., if volumes increase build a case to add extra capacity of a specific skillset to the sprint) • provide coaching and strategic direction to the sprint members to enable self-management with increased autonomy and decision-making power • act as a thought leader within INGKA Centres on all matters related to innovation, rapid prototyping and development in cross functional teams
You will report to Commercial Business Development manager, Jens Nielsen and the place of work will be Khimki, Moscow region
