Job description

  1. Prospect & secure common area with kiosks, pushcarts and other means of leasing
  2. Prospect & secure tenants for inline premises with the temporary solutions
  3. Maintain strong relationship and have clear understanding of the expansion plans and technical requirements of tenants in particular category (common area and temporary solutions for inline premises)
  4. Strategize deal structure, standardise variations and maintain relationships with tenants
  5. Deliver best possible lease deals by reaching or exceeding pre-defined commercial goals through negotiation strategy
  6. Evaluate possible commercial or reputational risks, initiate and propose solutions (risks & commercial results) for stakeholders to take leasing decisions
  7. Work with matrix leasing teams to deliver reporting information & presentations
  8. Establish and build networking channels with prospects, existing tenants, real estate agents and  consultants
  9. Contribute a strong database of potential & existing tenants to master tenant database
  10. Contribute & support yearly lease plan actions
  11. Identify opportunistic events, conferences and exhibitions to build rapport with industry leaders/retailers
  12. Prepare and coordinate all leasing related materials for the events and conference participation related to the shopping center
  13. Support the development of Leasing Strategy, Leasing Plan and Merchandising mix for the shopping center
  14. Contribute in workshop/meeting to calibrate concept development ideas, lease strategies and retail market check activities
  15. Support evaluation process on market sales potential, consumer survey, initial planning on relevant projects
  16. Contribute to rent projection, tenant mix plan and generating leasing progress reports
  17. Assist on pre-leasing activities, i.e. solicit regional retailers, create pre-lease tracking term sheet and reporting templates
  18. Cross-department interface and coordination on all stages of development, i.e. concept plan, tenant coordination and project managemen


Qualification

  1. Experience in a group leasing role from an established Shopping Centre developer is beneficial.
  2. 3-5 years working experience in Leasing & Marketing / Leasing Administration within a shopping centre environment with qualifications of Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, preferably in Real Estate or related discipline.
  3. Pro-active with positive attitude, independent and strong organizational skills
  4.  Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, ability to create and improve cooperation
  5. Strong in tenant solicitation, lease negotiation & retailer network/relationship
  6. Able to work independently and under pressure, able to multi-task. 
  7. Possesses good verbal and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
