PURPOSE OF FUNCTION Develop the marketing strategy and manage the marketing plan execution by leading and orchestrating initiatives to enrich the customer experience in-centre, elevate awareness, drive visitation and maximize the revenue opportunities to achieve business goals and targets.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB Lead, mentor and develop a high performance marketing team to achieve marketing objectives and contribute to a successful business plan. Responsible for the successfully executing and delivering a fantastic customer experience to shoppers. Cross-functional collaboration with tenants and IKEA Tebrau to ensure unique, holistic campaign executions. Working with other related departments to smoothen operational execution for success.
Develop marketing strategies and overall marketing plan with the consideration of partners, anchors, tenants.
Strategically matching requirements, revenue targets, overall marketing activities support with a good image and reputation that build our awareness, positioning and perception, ensuring a healthy brand funnel which ultimately drives visitation and sales.
Sustain the growth on visitation, revenue and emphasize on the customer experience the centre offers.
Detail and derive spending for annual budget purpose and on monthly basis for forecasting purpose with understanding of accrual of revenue and expenses where it is necessary.
Connect and strengthen relationship with partners to effectively utilize event spaces to benefit the shopping centre in terms of income and brand perception.
Communicate to intra department as well as internal department for communication of relevant activities, so they can effectively use such information for their purpose.
Effectively engage with other functional teams meanwhile developing business analysis and complex problem solving skills.
Drive marketing direction with marketing team competence effectively grow the business with regional support.
Lead by example, coach and encourage people towards inspiring goals.
Develop team for with marketing fundamentals, digital expertise, customer experience and global best practices.

Bachelors Degree in Marketing or a related field.
Experience within the shopping centre industry, or any other related retail experience.
Minimum of 8 years in a marketing or related role, with at least 2 years managerial experience with a team of 2 direct reports.
Strong understanding of customer and marketing dynamics and requirements. Good understanding of current retail trends and practices, including digital strategies and tactics.
Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve and adapt methods and approaches.
Solve problems creatively and effectively and high levels of integrity and honesty.
Creative as well as analytical.
Experience in budgeting and forecasting, multitasking with ability prioritise and juggle multiple commitments and deadlines.
Strong negotiator, a team player with excellent analytical skills and business acumen.
