Purpose of the Job
Ensures actionable insights are generated through internal and external sources and disseminated across the organization to amplify data driven decision-making, eventually to achieve a better customer experience.
Ensure the Insights Team is performing on its full capacity and delivery high quality outputs while putting plans in place to further improve quality of deliverables.
Key Job Responsibilities
Smooth and Timely execution of the defined Insights Strategy.
Maintain an up to date record of all Macro Economic Indicators and related insights.
Support in securing information from both internal & external sources, translating the information into insights and sharing across the organization.
Supporting upskilling the wider organization on insight and data driven decisions.
Working partnership with wider organization to understand and meet insight needs.
Bring together consumer, market, performance, and all internal data to produce multi-faced insight.
Manage the B&C Insights team to ensure they have the required skills and knowledge to deliver on their role and they remain motivated to work with IKEA.
Ensure a high quality of work from the B&C Insights Team.
Ensure all deliverables are completed within the set timelines.
Support in creating synergies and integration across the Insights Team, Business and Consumer Team.
Maintain a healthy pool of research agencies/ suppliers who are aware of IKEA business and needs.
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Marketing or Research.
Proven Insights Experience: Primary Research Experience is a Must (Business or Agency).
Experience on Macro Economic Analysis / Geographic Analysis / Big Data Analytics and Database Management.
Retail and/or home furnishing experience (Marketing or Research).
User of Research, interpreting and designing actions.
Experience of working in Manager role, managing and influencing people.
Experience of creating and implementing fact-based plans, and following up goals.
Experience in project management.
Travel to operating cities is required at least on a quarterly basis.
