Together with the Category Management Team, contribute, leading and implementation of Natural Fibres agenda in Indonesia
Responsible and take lead in creating and managing the business agenda from a category & segment perspective
Leading people and business regional with global perspective in mind
Inspire and empower co-workers to perform to the best of their abilities and continuously develop in their assignments
Through IKEA way of doing business, be responsible to secure right pre-conditions and lead to achieve professional long term business development and excellent results for the category
Establishing and managing cost budget for the team. Continuously use resources in an optimal way to secure business goals ensuring organisational efficiency
Responsible for driving the Competence agenda for the business team: Identify needs and gaps, and build leadership and competence plans to meet the short and long term business need
Build a professional and long term relationship with suppliers by challenging and negotiate through the IKEA way of doing business
Identify potential suppliers to grow the business and to challenge existing Suppliers
Analysing business needs and requirements
Identify and start-up new suppliers according to business needs through the business development team and/or by giving assignment to New Business teams
At any time, act as an ambassador of IKEA values and Role Model for Fact-based Business leadership
We want to have a leader who is experienced in leading people and business, able to lead from holistic perspective, and always leading by example. You need to be decisive and have strong motivation for getting result while capable to relate and build trust with people and suppliers.
Coaching, mentoring, and developing the entrepreneur approach in the area is also important, in balance with simple, humble and down to earth behaviour supported by good communication skills. Open minded and ability to understand and adapt to local culture will be an advantage.
On the other side we also required a leader who has deep knowledge about the cost drivers in purchasing part of the supply chain / value chain approach and production process & operational excellence, Lean knowledge is highly desirable as well as economics and financial knowledge. Lastly capable to work with combined material / across categories (Natural Fibre, Bamboo, Paper, Pine, Hard Wood)
