In this role you will be part of the Customer Fulfilment (CFF) Team, which is a fundamental part in making IKEA multichannel retailing a reality. To support IKEA in achieving business objectives, CFF acts as a fully integrated, process-oriented organisation with an end-to-end approach to develop our business and deliver results across functions together with our partners.


The purpose of the position will be to support the IKEA business by maintaining an efficient and effective administration, including fulfilment of legal and accounting requirements. To ensure that the staff planning process delivers to the needs of the Market Central Distribution Center (MCDC) by continuously seeking and coordinating business opportunities through optimized staff planning.

• You have a commercial degree (KV) or similar.
• You have preferably already worked in a controlling function and have good knowledge of controlling demands.
• You have a good flair for numbers and are proficient with MS Excel. Power BI knowledge is a plus.
• You are able to communicate confidently and clearly in English.
• You are process driven and result oriented.
• You have a good knowledge of retail and logistic processes, working methods and tools.
• You have a good personal discipline and an ability to work within set deadlines.
• You have strong analytical skills
• You are able to adjust the style of communication to get the message across your stakeholders and to give open and honest feedback.


• Support the Business Navigation Manager in steering the business towards long term profitability improving efficiency and minimizing costs.
• Act as an interface to the other departments and give support regarding finance and bookkeeping related issues in the unit and within the matrix.
• Together with the Business Navigation Manager jointly responsible for the accurate accountancy in the unit in accordance with the legal provisions in force and the IKEA guidelines.
• Contribute to analyse all factors and developments, which may affect the unit’s financial result
• Jointly responsible to prepare, analyse and report financial closings, forecasts and budgets.
• Develop action plans that secure the best use of available resources, a diverse and appropriate staff structure and meets the defined business and productivity goals thereby contributing to the fulfilment of the unit staffing approach.
• Challenge existing ways of working with the goal of operating in a quicker, leaner and simpler way.
