The IKEA Supply Chain Operation is responsible for developing, planning, providing, operating and following up all transport business to deliver and perform today, tomorrow, and over time.
What you will be doing
Be the business responsible for defined market(s);
Identify and propose carrier portfolio based on long-term business needs. Take lead in SP Classification and SP
Identify and act on commercial opportunities, to create preconditions for SPs' cost-down and secure respective price impact.
Maintains extensive knowledge of relevant transport market conditions. Is aware of economical influences (resulting to e.g. network/flow changes, etc.). Follow the development of legal/regulatory framework and act upon challenges and opportunities.
Develop and implement yearly Action Plan with carriers and other functions to secure fulfilment of respective business objectives. Lead or support sourcing-related projects, if applicable.
Establish and secure fulfilment of Frame Agreement and Sub-agreements. Together with other relevant functions perform Carrier Business Review. Responsible to secure SPs' IWAY compliance and compliance to Supply Chain Security requirements.
Take the role as IKEA ambassador when communicating with external parties.

Ability to lead business with a holistic view, always act with customers, service providers, total IKEA and total cost development in mind.
Capability to deliver result through involving and engaging peoples.
Capability to perform business analysis, risk assessment, scenario planning and draw conclusions to support the right business decisions and implementations.
