You strongly share and live the IKEA values.   To be successful you have proven advanced training in information technology, computer science or equivalent experience. You also bring a minimum of 5 years of progressive and diverse experience as a software developer/engineer, technology architect, with a good foundation of Cloud and related technologies. You have also experience of working with internal or external clients/customers. You have experience in designing and implementing resilient and highly available platforms within the warehouse or eCommerce business area. You have: · Proven experience working with integrations in an enterprise scale. · 3 to 5 Years of working experience with server administration and preferably Oracle middleware products such as WebLogic and Fusion. · Basic understanding of database capabilities for supporting application operations. · Knowledge of steering principles for IT, reference architectures & tools, DevOps, Automation, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Containerisation, Cloud and technical standards & platforms. · Educated/Working experience in the regulatory landscape, such as GDPR and PCI-DSS. · Comfortable leading, directing and empowering team members without formal management authority. · Experience working with a remote and globally distributed team.


Within the area of IKEA Sales Order Management we are in a very exciting position. We are responsible for that the new Customer Order Management solution at IKEA is up running 24/7 globally, while we at the same time support and prepare the IKEA Growth and future needs. In order to be better prepared for these challenges and needs we are right now hiring to our team. As a Solution Area Designer within the ISOM Infrastructure team you will be responsible for translating IT requirements from IT architecture to design requirements within the Multichannel space. You will guide and support projects, initiatives, and infrastructure services on how to integrate with and use our Services. You will support our co-workers, customers, partners, and vendors in making sure that our products and services are configured in accordance with architecture, security demands, rules & policies. About the assignment: · As Infrastructure Solution Area Designer – IKEA Sales Order Infrastructure Service you will technically be part of securing that our infrastructure service can support the distributed customer order management system as well as making sure that it can be used in the current and future infrastructure/application landscape. · To be able to do that you need to work in a flow dimension together with relevant stakeholders but also maintain knowledge about how related systems are integrated. · This means you need to analyse and follow up on non-functional requirements on our service as well as underlying infrastructure needed to deliver consistent and reliable performance for IKEA! · Be involved in sprint planning meetings to help provide clarity and elaborate features and user stories to help the team better understand the requirements and how success will be measured. · Act as a subject matter expert for teams, providing technology insight, context and additional information as needed to help understanding of what is required.
