Great, we are now looking for a Senior Business Analysts in the Database and Application area.

As a person you see endless possibilities of how technology can support and enable high-quality technology services/products for the service area

We believe you are motivated by working agile, being open to change and you have strong experience and knowledge from the area of Databases and Application hosting. Most importantly, you work with our stakeholders taking lead to understand their needs and pain points and translate them into technical services and products. You work according to design thinking and agile practices and can easily relate how they are put into product development.

We also expect you to be an ambassador and mentor where you set standards, guidelines and best practices on how business development is run within the service area

To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

-Formal qualifications in Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent

-Several years of progressive and diverse working experience within business development or business analysis

-Minimum 5 years of experience in technology transformational changes, requirement management and what it means to an IT team as well as leading different initiatives

-Knowledge and experience from the area of Databases and Applications, either from a technical, product or business process perspective

-Demonstrable experience in coaching, mentoring and collaborating with senior colleagues and stakeholders

-Experience of working in an agile/DevOps environment

-Understanding of Data Governance

-High proficiency in spoken and written English

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role as Senior Business Analyst you be part of the Database and Application Services team and will report to Service Manager who is Accountable for Service Roadmap and Delivery Teams of Database ad Application Services. Your office location will be in southern of Sweden (Helsingborg or Älmhult).

Among many tasks you will:

-Create, maintain and promote the roadmap and offering in order to increase the knowledge of the Service(s)

-Lead the collection of requirements and stakeholder/consumer feedback connected to one or more Service(s) to give input to the roadmap and the operational model

-Provide high quality input and secure a relevant strategy and roadmap for the area based on user needs, latest technologies and best practices in the market together with the service manager and Engineering Managers

-Lead and plan reviews ensuring compliance with legislations, policies or other requirements in order to stay compliant

-Translate business requirements into operational models and dashboards to visualize Service/Product metrics such as usage, capacity, lifecycle, cost

-Drive development of business cases relevant for the service area.

-Drive the data collection needed for the strategy, design, development and maintenance of Product(s)/Service(s) in order to deliver based on consumer needs

-Develop and adapt our operational model, analysis and reporting based on best practice and current objectives to drive efficiency and quality in the delivery of the Product(s)/Service(s)

-Lead and mentor in the Service/Product area in outlining risks, costs, benefits, and capability models in order to strengthen the service offering

-Design Service(s) together with stakeholders across functions to help produce all required design specifications and ensure that Product/Service teams work together and fulfil business needs

-Proactively promote and lead improvement initiatives that will drive improved quality and reduce cost

-Onboard, coach and mentor business analysts and engineers in order to secure transfer of competence and a high performing team
