Platform Operations Owner - Group Digital, INGKA Group

In this role you have proven training in information technology, computer science or equivalent and minimum 2-3 years of experience of IT Operations (application/infrastructure). You have knowledge in following areas: • experience of IT/Technology service operations and management including release management • knowledge and experience of toolsets used to manage and monitor applications and infrastructure · knowledge of the Technology systems • good written and verbal communication skills · experience with Agile practices As a person you have experience in application and infrastructure operations and management. You also have knowledge and experience of running and operating core systems/platforms. In addition, you have the ability to achieve most tasks without help and by using own judgement and to deliver with attention to detail. Troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving abilities is in your focus as well as being appreciative of complex situations with ability to achieve partial resolution. You can also understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of technology as an integrated part of the business.


As a Platform Operations Owner - Technology you will support operating and maintaining a highly reliable and stable group of platforms, balancing the need to implement the platform roadmap with ensuring platform functionality and satisfying the on-going needs of the product development teams. You will: · Supports all aspects of IT service delivery within the assigned platform area, e.g. operations, IT support, life cycle management and IT Service continuity management including IT Service performance in accordance with service level agreements · Lead and operate in all aspects of IT Service Delivery including ensuring compliance with legislations, policies and other requirements · Accountable for operational supplier management, e.g. responsibility for operational delivery and handling of system failures and new version rollouts · Establish internal and external agreements as required to fulfil SLA for the platform · Manage platform budget, e.g. budget and forecasts, follow up cost development and proactively drive improvements in cost efficiency · Continually review and align license forecast and to ensure license compliance · Support the Platform Operations Manager with insights for balancing the need to implement the platform roadmap and ensuring platform availability and performance · Support the Platform Operations Manager with managing successful releases of changes to the applications as needed · Engage with Platform Engineering Manager and/or Chapter Leads regarding resources and functional expertise required for run-related changes · Contribute with insights to relevant forums related to the platforms · Help in applying best practice in service operations, continually driving to improve service and performance · Work across initiatives within INGKA Group, steering solutions towards the correct architecture In this role you will report to the Platform Operations Manager.
