You will work cross product and tech area and lead and facilitate the development of the Business Support domain teams ways of working, including streamlining operations and developing/communicating domain strategy. As a result, the position will be critical to make time, information, and decision-making more effective and providing the overall status of our domain from all aspects: financial, capacity, roadmap.

Reporting to our Engineering Domain Manager, Anca Iordanescu, this role will work cross product and tech area and will lead and facilitate the development of the Business Support domain teams ways of working, including streamlining operations and developing/communicating domain strategy. As a result, the position will be critical to make time, information, and decision-making more effective and also providing the overall status of our domain from all aspects: financial, capacity, roadmap.

To be successful, we believe you need previous knowledge and experience from:

• Developing and executing processes that enable an engineering leadership team to unleash their full potential.

• Managing executive stakeholders and ability to present, engage and communicate with senior audiences

• Deep understanding of agile and product development ways of working. General program management skills

• Well-versed in communications with special knowledge in the area of digital transformation

• Experience in managing digital transformations at large, multinational companies

• Using a data-driven approach to decision making, both in day-today management and in making strategic trade-offs

You have very strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships. You structure, plan and find practical solutions while finding new ways of doing things. You stimulate creative ideas and perspectives that add value.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will Streamline operations (e.g. communications, finances, headcount mgt) on behalf of the engineering team in close collaboration with, other teams in our domain (Product, UX, Data etc) our management teams in Digital and other functions across Ingka (e.g. CFF).

You will enable the engineering team to contribute to the development of the domain strategy and support in decision-making by providing relevant data and analysis. You will assess, lead and follow up strategic and operational initiatives proactively and independently. You are deeply involved and aware of all movements within our sub-domains – and jointly responsible for their alignment into the larger domain and digital-wide strategies.

In this role, and in close collaboration with the engineering domain manager and their leadership team, the leader will:

• Prioritize and influence the sequence of transformational activities (Changes to process) that create happy and high-performing team – both at engineering level and cross competence leadership team at domain level.

• Create and optimize process that measure progress, results, as well as team-specific performance metrics in order to support decision-making

• Collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders across the organization to drive the communication and anchoring of domain and engineering strategy within Ingka and Inter. Including preparing communication material that is used on a regular basis to describe success, status and focus.

• Coordinate, lead and develop preparations for larger meetings and events, in collaboration with domain leadership and communication as relevant

• organize and facilitate engineering domain management meetings with agenda, actions etc.

• Facilitate the development of the product/engineering approach to the INGKA level strategies.

• Sync with CTO/CPO office and other INGKA functions to ensure that data and input is available in a timely manor – e.g. OKRs / Status reports

• Drive operational initiatives for the domain to improve the quality and flow of the value we add, for example consolidate domain overall fiscal performance such as domain-wide budgets, ROI measures, hiring needs (head count) in relation to frame and communication efforts within the domain, ensuring that communication material is well structured and delivered.

• Build strong relationships with all enabling team functions (including comms, P&C, Finance, Procurement) and drive change to process that will enable our engineering/product teams to release even more value to our customers and co-workers.
