We are looking for a Student who is pro-active, turns challenges in opportunities and can work independently. Furthermore mobility during the assignment is a pre, since it is possible that for parts of the assignment information gathering could be needed from one of the 12 IKEA stores in the Netherlands. Moreover what is needed from you:
• HBO commercial economics, business administration or similar (third or fourth year student)
• Fluent in Dutch & English
• start date in consultation
In this fantastic assignment you will find out how relevant our current services portfolio is by investigating the external market developments, demand of the customers and possibilities within our organization. A big part of this investigation will consist of quantitative research methodologies to have a complete and reliable view of our (potential) customers demand. To make this assignment a success, you will be directly supported by the Country Business Navigator.
In a fast changing and high competitive retail market the role of convenience is getting more and more important for customers. IKEA recognizes this development and offers a complete package of diverse services in order to act on this demand. However from an omnichannel perspective, we see that the need from the diverse type of (potential) customers in the market is not always optimally reflected by our current portfolio. Therefore we would like to get an better understanding of the relevance of our current portfolio and look into possibilities to fit the demand from the customers in a better way.
