The purpose of this assignment is to create a better everyday life for the many people extends to the many co-workers at IKEA. Labor Safety Specialist Safety, Health and Wellbeing (SHW) is important business partner to manage overall co-worker’s occupational health and safety risks associated with Co-worker Relation responsible at IKEA Korea in order to avoid non-conformance with legal and other requirements while achieving IKEA Korea SHW continuous improvement to be Global IKEA wished position.

YOUR ASSIGNMENTYour work and Task
• Responsible for overall co-worker’s occupational health and safety for Gwangmyeong store.
• Implement IKEA Korea OHS concept, process development and communication with Country OHS Specialist.
• Analysis workplace incident and report to global IKEA and Labor office.
• Communicate workplace incident case with solution to prevent incident recurrence.
• Conduct various activities for workplace incident prevention to be safe workplace.
• Lead Store Safety and Health Committee (SHC) meeting.
• Lead store-wide/functional safety training plans to secure co-worker’s readiness and manager’s competence in the area of co-worker safety.
• Manage co-worker well-being program and healthcare program with external medical service.
• Co-ordinate Annual medical check-up for all co-worker and special check-up for newcomer for store.
• Counselling for compensation & leave after work incident/personal disease for store-level.
• Assume other responsibility, tasks or project within P&C

YOUR PROFILEYour Skills and Knowledge
It is essentials that:
• You have a certified by national safety professional license (mandatory), company will officially register co-worker’s name and license as co-worker’s safety responsible
You have an understanding of IKEA Brand, Culture and Values
• Have the ability to communicate both in Korean and in English, IKEA’s global language.
• That you have a passion for home furnishings and life at home and live the IKEA values
• You are self-motivated, action orientated, and a decision maker who can and does take the initiative on all matters related to the occupational health and safety of our co-workers.
• You are proficient in IT tools, systems and MS office
It is preferred that:
• You have the knowledge of national and local legal requirements and legislations
• You have experience in both operational administrations and co-worker association within Health and safety.
