Mobility Specialist
Our first IKEA store in Korea opened on December 18 2014 and has already attracted millions of happy customers. We strongly believe that a happier life starts at home so we have an exciting expansion plan in front of us! We are still in the beginning of establishing IKEA in Korea, developing the brand and building a strong long term positioning.

About the job:
In your role as Mobility Specialist, you will provide expertise in and secure implementation of Mobility solutions within INGKA Group Functions, in line with INKGA Group Mobility Framework supporting a great co-worker experience.

More information about your tasks:
  • In cooperation with global mobility and the business: implement, maintain and continuously develop mobility policies and processes that are effective, efficient and in line with IKEA Culture and values, market trends, latest developments and best practices.
  • Ensure appropriate compliance with Mobility policies and governance(VISA)
  • Work closely with service providers, ensuring co-workers and their families get an excellent experience
  • Be the local single point of contact for the co-worker on assignment in your organisation for mobility policy & process inquiries during the entire assignment (from start to repatriation or new assignment).
  • Continuously review the current processes and tools, support the development of new improved ways of working, with the focus on simplicity in cooperation with Global mobility.
  • Contribute to a good onboarding experience for incoming co-workers, ensure they receive timely, clear, sufficient and accurate information linked to Mobility matters.
  • Handle mobility related invoices and administration tasks
  • Track and report mobility related costs.
  • Secure mobility related payroll tasks with the cooperation of payroll specialist
  • Monitor changes in e.g. salary and/or benefits during the assignment and work closely with global mobility colleagues to ensure that co-workers have the support needed.
  • Engage, gather commitment and align with key stakeholders within People & Culture, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal and Risk Management.
  • Create communication for key stakeholders to inform and inspire about Mobility.

It is essential that you have:
  • Living with IKEA Culture and Value.
  • Customer focus and service minded approach.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience from working with home and host based mobility policies.
  • Significant knowledge of creating and implementing mobility policies and procedures in large-scale organisations and multinational environments.
  • Knowledge of HR related administrating and processing information
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to inspire trust and support co-workers
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills
  • Experience in working with a variety of service providers (relocation, insurance, tax, pension).
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with capacity to handle many interfaces and tasks
