LOCATION South Korea / Gwangmyeong WORK AREA IKEA Food JOB TYPE Permanent / Full-time ABOUT THE JOB To lead and develop the commercial activity in the Swedish Food Market and Bistro in line with the IKEA Food Concept and Business Idea. To increase the sales of IKEA home furnishing products and support the IKEA position, as the best home furnishings retailer. You support in strengthening the low price and Swedish identity of the store. You lead and manage your team in line with the IKEA HR idea. • You have passion for home furnishing and people’s everyday life at home • You have experience of setting and implementing actions plans and budgets, and following up goals • You are self reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team • You have a working understanding stock management, goods flow and ordering • You are good at prioritising and organising your work and the work of others using commercial priorities in order to make the most efficient use of time available • You have a proven record as a problem-solver and a decision-maker who excels in a fast-paced retail environment • Good command of English skills, both written and verbal


• Maximise vitality and commerciality of IKEA in the store to increase sales and profitability according to your goals • Utilise the appropriate national and international tools and best practice for merchandising, sales steering, and profitability KPI’s • Work together with the Kitchen production manager in operating your IKEA Food areas in accordance with the IKEA Quality, Food safety and Environmental requirements and other relevant legislation. • Ensuring that the shop is in excellent shape and fully stocked at all times so that customers are able to make a buying decision on their own • Ensure all co workers have the product knowledge and know how to work with the Swedish Food market range • Create an environment of trust by encouraging open, constructive, honest, two-way feedback with your team and other colleagues while providing an inspiring and motivating direction for co-workers and engaging them fully in the IKEA objectives.
