Job description


Essential - You have passion for home furnishing and people’s everyday life at home. - You have ability to lead, communicate and implement the change within/outside team - You have experience of food goods flow and working in a busy goods receiving area - You are self reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team - You have a working understanding stock management, inventory and food safety - You are good at prioritising and organising your work and the work of others using commercial priorities in order to make the most efficient use of time available - You have a proven record as a problem-solver and a decision-maker who excels in a fast-paced retail environment Excellent English skills, both written, and verbal Preferable -Experience in logistics/retail environment -Stock taking experience -Book keeping experience -Good knowledge of IKEA internal rules and guidelines Additional motivation -Likes working with figures/reports -Working with computer systems


The IKEA FOOD Team leader’s tasks include: - Willing to listen and support team with an attitude based on the IKEA values & culture - An overview of the store business plan and IKEA Food action plans by supporting your manager in implementing it with the team - Have visitor focus minded and maximise vitality and commerciality of IKEA in the store to increase sales and profitability according to your goals knowing top selling products and 3 aces and a king - Ensure the customer is always in focus and strive to make them smile, and increase conversion rate -Ensure that IKEA Quality and Food safety policies and routines are followed and proceed standard way -Renew and improve based on cost conscious and in a sustainable way -Work actively to create an environment of trust by encouraging open, constructive, honest, two-way feedback with your team and other colleagues while providing an inspiring and motivating direction for co-workers and engaging them fully in the IKEA objectives
