Who you are

It is essential that you have:

•You have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing and can work in cross-functional/global teams with different stakeholders.
•Very good knowledge of in working with office tools such as Excel, Word, Power Point and other sourcing systems.
•Good knowledge of purchasing and basic economics, e.g. cost drivers, cost structures.
•Language: Speak, read and write in both Korean & English.
•Expertise in analyzing data for suggestion of tactical and strategical decisions. Collecting and analyzing data via systems, surveys and questionnaires.
•Able to works independently (time management and planning, prioritization of tasks).
•Eager to work in a global environment and to accept and take advantage of diversity.

It is a plus:
•Good knowledge of construction industry and market specific conditions, norms and macroeconomics trends.
•Japanese proficiency

Your responsibilities

About the job (your work & tasks):

As a Business Analyst you are responsible for clarifying business needs, providing a fact-based approach to INGKA Procurement’s sourcing decisions, projects and processes. Furthermore, you will:
•Secure providing the fact-based and most up-to-date data with analytics for the most optimal recommendations with minimum risks.
•Build business, market, procurement intelligence database for Ingka procurement Korea team.
•Set up a business analysis approach and plan to support Procurement team, with focus on sourcing projects, securing processes, and overall team support.
•Perform data analyses (including risk, cost and spend analyses) and scenario planning.
•Support construction procurement and tendering process – market scanning and supplier long list, Pre-qualification, tender commercial evaluation, etc.
•Contribute to the set-up and maintenance of a database enabling relevant forecasts and benchmarking (e.g. market intelligence, cost database, spend analytics, supplier database and supplier performance).


In this role, you will report to Country Procurement Manager.
This role will be not offered with LTA/Mobility Package.
Working location will be located in South Korea, Gwangmyeong city.
