IKEA Greenwich Local Facilities Management Specialist - Full time 39 hours

Job description


Passionate about Maintenance? Are you proactive in nature, conscientious, thorough and keen to make a difference? Do you relish solving problems? Do you have Maintenance or Facilities Management experience? We’re looking for the right person to come and join our Facilities Management team to assist in providing a safe, clean, functional and sustainable environment with-in our buildings


it is essential that you: • Have a background in maintenance and hold a trade qualification either electrical, mechanical or plumbing. • Have 17th edition BS7671 electrical qualifications. • You are able to work from your own motivation but also be part of a team to deliver excellent services. • You have knowledge of site H&S regulations, understanding, reading, producing Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Permits to work. • Hold an IPAF certificate. • You are self-motivated. • You have strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills. • You have a high standard of written and verbal communication skills. • You have a willingness to help and have worked around the general public. • You have experience of working within a demanding and busy environment. • You have the flexibility in terms of working hours and are able to be part of an on call Rota and available to work weekends. • You have a working knowledge of MS office applications. • Have people management skills Desirable knowledge and/or experience in: • Facilities Management with-in a retail environment • You have experience in using computer aided facility management software systems • You have some experience in managing financial constraints and working within budgets. • Understanding of COSHH • Experience in Managing contractors • You have knowledge of site H&S regulations, understanding, reading, producing Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Permits to work.
