WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Proactive and courteous customer approach; enjoys working with the public • Enjoys the challenge of a fast-paced, high-volume environment • Ability to multi-task • Good communication skills • Willingness to share your knowledge and learning • Mathematical skills • Interest in culinary or food service industry • Computer aptitude • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment • Ability to lift 50 lbs. (25 kg) • Open and flexible availability (weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays)

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US

• Prepare meals following IKEA’s food concept according to specifications using approved ingredients • Serve customers on the food line and in the dining room • Prepare special requests • Prepare hot beverages, assist in light baking and food preparation as needed • Follow all health regulations for proper food handling and hygiene • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant • Adhere to inventory control procedures and security policies • Follow all food safety regulations in place • Ensure food sales process is done in an accurate and timely manner • Reconcile cash drawer while maintaining proper audit trail • Assume other task and responsibilities as they occur
