The Risk & Compliance function leads the development and implementation of the code of conduct for the franchisees, IConduct, under the IKEA trademark. IConduct outlines a set of business requirements in order to protect our customers, co-workers and the IKEA Brand. IConduct covers chapters about People & Society, Health, Safety & Security, Business Ethics, Information Handling, and the safety and compliance of IKEA products.
SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE
To support our franchisees in the best way, we’re looking for a specialist who can support them in the field of Health, Safety & Security and Business Ethics. In this role you’re the ‘spider in the web’ in relation to these topics and we expect you to build and maintain a community of experts within the IKEA value chain. In addition to the community-building and support provision, you’re expected to create and maintain supporting documentation like: guidelines, templates, good examples, etcetera.
In this role you will work together with colleagues that are expert in other chapter of IConduct, for example Information Handling or Planet.
This is a new role in a newly established team, so you understand that additional responsibilities may arise over time as this role and the organisation develops.

You have deep knowledge and experience in Health,Safety & Security as well as Business Ethics (i.e. anti-corruption, sanction screening, and conflict of interest). You have a strong understanding of concepts, theories, principles and practices related to Health, Safety & Security and Business Ethics and good knowledge of the most relevant legal requirements around these topics. Ideally you have an understanding of the basic principles of compliance, audit and/or internal control.
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) based in Delft (The Netherlands), reporting to the Third Party Compliance Manager.
