Inter IKEA Group brings together three core businesses (divisions): Franchise, Range & Supply and Industry. Together we work constantly to improve the IKEA home furnishing offer and make it more accessible for the many people. For this role, you will be part of the Risk & Compliance function and reporting to the Risk & Compliance Manager in Inter IKEA Group. The function leads the design and oversees the effectiveness of the internal risk management and control system and by that carries both the second and third line responsibility.
As Ethics and Integrity Leader, you lead the development the company’s holistic approach to business ethics. You manage the handling of (complex) ethical matters and dilemmas, for example, when different interests are at stake in relation to business, people and/or IKEA values. Your analytical and consequence thinking ability combined with your strong motivation to safeguard the integrity of the co-workers and IKEA Brand will enable you to deliver to your assignment.
Your main responsibilities as Ethics and Integrity Leader are: • Lead the development and management of the Inter IKEA Group Code of Conduct • Promote and create preconditions for an ethical organisational climate and secure awareness activities and necessary material and tools • Ensure and oversee a professional, consistent and compliant handling of investigations • Be an internal advocate and ‘go-to-person’ to provide advice and support to the business when dealing with ethical dilemmas or investigations • Lead or support complex, multi-faceted investigations that need to be led from an Inter IKEA Group level • Develop relevant indicators to enable analytics in order to improve the company´s efforts and provide recommendations to the relevant management boards and Inter IKEA Group´s Ethics Committee
We believe you are an experienced leader, with for example a HR or Risk background, dealing with complex ethical matters in an international environment. You have a professional certification, such as CPI or similar. Your experience provided you with an understanding of different ethical theory models and knowledge on the relevant legal requirements and societal development when dealing with ethical dilemmas and matters in a business environment. You are experienced in investigating ethical misconduct. Your good communication skills enable you to demonstrate your high level of integrity and ability to speak and act according to strong moral principles.
Most of all, you enjoy developing IKEA by building relationships, developing people, partnerships and networks. One of your strengths is your ability to identify key issues and develop relevant solutions in a structured way. This is a 40 hour position and it is located in Delft, the Netherlands.
