To succeed in this role you have Ingka business experience with exposure to Real Estate business and background in business management and Real Estate from Ingka and experience from managerial positions. You have proven skills in developing people and provide support, coaching, training, and career direction to others. You have ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English and academic degree in engineering/business/economics or similar.

As a Real Estate Manager for North America you will lead and develop all aspects of the Real Estate business in in your cluster countries according to the Ingka Real Estate scope.
• Lead and manage the Real Estate organizations to ensure execution of the real estate scope in Ingka • Ensuring appropriate resources are available to manage the real estate business and all projects in the cluster from start to finish. • Responsible to optimize the value and efficiency of each property in a sustainable way. • Responsible to deliver a safe, compliant, sustainable and innovative property solution based on business needs. • Ensure that co-workers and external partners, when needed, has up-to-date awareness and understanding of all frameworks, guidelines and initiatives issued by Group Real Estate. • Responsible to provide forecasts, follow-ups, 5 year rolling plan and provide input to investment budgets. • Managing and developing the team’s competence and performance in order to achieve the real estate scope in Ingka and actively support succession planning. • Create an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers. • Ensure a safe environment for co-workers and external consultants and contractors in accordance with the IKEA health and safety policy
