WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

The Accounting Supervisor leads, steers and supports a team of Accountants and the overall Ingka financial reporting that is beneficial to people & planet and protects and adds value to our assets, securing profitable growth and financial independence. By providing Accounting & Reporting services, supporting a strong compliance framework, and effective governance to enable entrepreneurship and safeguard our people, customers and businesses.

Experience:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or a related field.
• 5+ years of increasingly responsible accounting experience in similar or larger organization.
• Demonstrate knowledge of broad set of accounting principles (e.g. INGKA and local GAAP).
• CPA or pursuing CPA, preferred
• Experience in use of automated accounting systems.
• Proficient in MS Office skill.
• Experience in multicultural and multinational organization.
• Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English.
• Proven skills in developing people and provide support, coaching, training, and career direction to others.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development of the team based on the global finance, organizational and people development direction to secure the right competences, performance and succession.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve effective and efficient Accounting & Reporting processes and routines.
• Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities.
• Secure that the team members are working according to the A&R manual as well as local GAAP.
• Support the team with specific accounting and reporting related questions.
• Support relevant functions as a trustful and professional business partner in Accounting & Reporting matters with the aim to offer the customer a seamless shopping experience.
• Contribute the business plan process and set clear goals and action plan together with the team in alignment with the business plan and function goals.
• Coordinate and/or support internal and external audit, review and follow up on audit findings and recommendations.
• Contribute to local and global projects from A&R perspective.
• Secure and maintain a connection with and between core areas, business owners, group functions, process teams within the Ingka Group.
• Secure cross-organizational readiness and continued business growth in terms of competence, performance and succession through enabling an end-to-end approach.
• Ensure a safe environment for co-workers and external consultants and contractors in accordance with Ingka policies
