Country Product Leader (Digital)

Essential Requirements: • 2-3 years minimum leadership experience working in an iterative, agile product development and deployment teams. • Minimum of 3 years of diverse experience in delivering technical solutions • Strong background in computer engineering, computer science or equivalent • Experience of vendor/partnership management • Prior experience of agile development practices, agile set up and working as part of the agile team

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Country Products Leader, you will develop, test and maintain integration systems and services, be responsible for high-quality software development, and drive the development of digital products that enhance the customer experience. Additionally, you will act as a subject matter expert in regard to technical vendor agreements and serve as the lead for Country Products Specialists, including leading, coaching and developing the Specialists. You will: • Provide support and guidance as needed to Country Product Specialists encouraging good product development and product management practices • Be responsible for maintaining and updating the local product portfolio • Work with business stakeholders to understand and translate needs into product ideas, and to communicate the product ideas to the central product teams • Be responsible for the development of high quality (software) code which has been tested and is ready to be shipped applying and using good practices and agreed standards • Act as a technical expert in regard to integration and connectivity methods, protocols, security, and practices for both internal and external database management systems and infrastructure • Produce all required specifications and ensure that digital solutions work together and fulfill business needs by collaborating with developers in other countries and in Central Group Digital as well as external vendors • Act as a subject matter expert on the initiation and implementation of new technical service agreements • Coordinate rollouts of locally developed products with the Digital Portfolio & De-ployment Activity Group • Monitor local technologies and system trends, and evaluate their possible business benefits • Work across initiatives within Ingka Group, steering successful digital product integration and development in the countries that drive IKEA business results In this role, you will report to the Country Digital Manager.
