Business Controller Manager - Bologna Store

JOB PORPUSE AND ROLE:

Create customer value, good growth and optimise long term business performance by enabling better business decisions, securing efficiency and leading in accordance with financial and business strategies. This includes securing (financial) business performance, a safe and secure environment in compliance with laws, policies, standards and process.



YOUR RESPONSABILITIES:

• Identify and actively pursue business opportunities as they arise
• Have the full overview of the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the store and understand how different actions impact the different lines in the P&L.
• Be proactive by gettering all the information and tools available to ensure a multidimensional approach, steering the business in order to achieve growth and sustained long term profitability with our customers in focus
• Use the store’s performance analysis to identify proven solutions and ideas to make us quicker, leaner and simpler
• Work together with the Store Manager, commercial team and Food department to broaden our commercial and financial knowledge, in order to maximise the commercial opportunities in our local market.
• Communicate relevant business information and goals in a way which engages and inspires employees to create meaningful actions to achieve our agreed goals
• Be seen as an approachable, trustworthy and knowledgeable speaking partner who leads by example. Actively lead and develop cooperation across all areas of the store through working closely together, sharing knowledge and showing understanding of each other’s responsibilities in order to achieve our objectives.



YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• an academic background (Bachelor or Master Degree) in Economics or a related field
• at least 5 years of experience covering increasing responsibility roles in controlling/commercial area with proven analytical and numerical skills
• previous experience in international multinational companies with complex structures
• P&L analysis and ability to set a budget, implement action plans and follow up cost and KPI to steer the business
• ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English and Italian language
