You have at least 5 years of experience in a multi-unit facilities management organization, preferably in a high-volume retail sector. You can communicate clearly and confidently in English (both written and spoken) and in another european language. Great analytical skills and project management abilities complete the profile; a previous experience in logistics area will be considered a plus.
Besides that, you have knowledge in following areas:
• how to plan, organise and manage costs and expenditures for a business or organisation • how to assess and mitigate risks in a business environment • how to successfully deliver, organize and follow-up on FM services (cleaning, pest control, snow removal, waste management etc.) • how sustainability interacts with FM (energy consumption, water consumption, emissions, waste management, chemical products, purchasing …) • how to transform our operations to become climate positive and contribute to a circular society
Support the FM business within the countries under your responsibility to optimize the value and efficiency of each property in a sustainable way. You will:
• support that each property is managed throughout its lifetime including safety, compliance, maintenance and improvement to ensure a safe and operational environment for the business, employees, customers and other stakeholders • support purchase and implementation of relevant property management innovations, digital and technical solutions related to your specialist area that meet the needs of the business and the many people • advice, mentor and support the delivery of the agreed FM services within the countries under your responsibility, participating on both local and global level forums, maintaining and sharing up-to-date expertise, driving operational best-practice within the business in strict adherence with all applicable local regulations • contribute to the goalsetting, the FM budgeting activities, the 5 year rolling plan and the annual plan in your specialist area. Assist in controlling cost through working in a lean, simple and cost-conscious way, encouraging colleagues to discover more effective ways or working in your specialist area. • follow up of permits, licences, certificates and reporting measures in order to stay compliant with local and international legislation regarding the Real Estate FM scope
This role is located in Milan (Carugate) - IKEA Italy Headquarters and it requires availability to travel.
