Human Resources Management System (HRMS) Specialist

Burlington, Ontario People & HR Full Time

Job description

ABOUT THE JOB With a strong passion for information systems, you are responsible for optimizing the efficiency and accuracy of our Human Resource information systems which support our payroll, time keeping and workforce management processes.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include:
  • Monitor and follow up on our HR Systems and interfaces to ensure they are running efficiently and accurately
  • Partner with our Global partners and 3rd Party vendors on system upgrades, conduct testing to ensure alignment to our processes
  • To support with the creation of training tools for end users
  • Provide guidance and support to Human Resources Service Centre team members and unit HR team members for HR-Systems related questions on a timely basis
  • Secure that all legal and collective agreement changes are current in our systems
  • Manage change management requests for Payroll & Timekeeping systems with our IKEA Global partners and systems support teams
  • Maintenance of country interfaces & mapping tables to ensure co-worker information flows to all our HR systems
  • Using our HR Systems, run reports and monitor KPI’s that support our HR initiatives
  • Provide excellent customer service to our valued co-workers in supporting their needs
YOUR PROFILE Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
  • Proven technical experience with payroll and timekeeping systems, (KRONOS & ADP GlobalView, Workday or People Soft)
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of payroll and HR processes
  • Canadian payroll and benefits administration experience an asset
  • Experience with change management with a focus on creating timelines and to ensure their success, including training documents
  • A college or university degree in Business, HR and/or IT related disciplines
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • This role is based out of the Canadian Service Office in Burlington, Ontario
