HR Service Centre Specialist

ABOUT THE JOB With a strong eye for detail and data input accuracy, provide high quality Payroll and Benefits administration to IKEA Canada co-workers. Always customer service minded, you play a critical role supporting our hard working, valuable co-workers with daily inquiries, accuracy of pay, and support our ambitions of being a Great Place to Work.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include:
  • Timely, efficient and accurate payroll and benefits administration through exceptional data entry processes
  • Respond to co-worker and location inquiries concerning payroll, vacation, taxation and benefits
  • Facilitate successful resolution of co-worker inquiries by following established pay the co-worker guidelines and escalate complex issues when appropriate
  • Accountable for high quality of data input that supports accurate record keeping and analytics
  • Provide excellent customer service to our valued co-workers in supporting their needs
  • Support our units with training on our Pay the Co-worker processes and Time Keeping
  • Continually seek system and process efficiencies that support business objectives, cost savings and IKEA’s expansion plans
YOUR PROFILE Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A strong attention to detail and accuracy of data input
  • Canadian payroll and benefits administration experience an asset
  • Experience with payroll, staff planning and time keeping systems, (ADP Global View and KRONOS experience an asset)
  • Effective listening skills and ability to communicate clearly and accurately
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in French considered an asset
