•Have experience in logistics and/or warehousing, preferably with night work and staggered time work •Fluency in English both in written and orally •Structured and tactic mindset who can manage to make the everyday more efficient
What you'll be doing day to day
As a Team Leader in our CDC, you are responsible for motivating your employees and making sure they have the right competences to do an excellent job. You will be responsible for our night team who work with our full logistics chain at night.
Your main responsibility will be: •Work independently with creating results through your employees during nighttime •Participation in operational work and by that drive visible leadership •Developing your team by securing the right competences •Optimize work processes in close cooperation with team leaders from other departments
Our team within Ikea
As our new Logistics night team leader, you will be leading a team of 17 team dedicated co-workers and 1 leader trainee, who comes from many different backgrounds and whom all values collaborating to do their outmost. Our Customer Distribution Center (CDC) is a logistics unit that counts approximately 170 employees and works with the complete logistics supply chain. We are an international team of both fulltime and part-time employees that everyday works to make the many customers happy. Each day at our CDC, we deliver customer orders to ensure that our Zealand customers will get the goods they have ordered either from the IKEA website or by an IKEA store.
