Business Risk & Compliance Norway consists of Country Business Risk & Compliance manager, Operational Risk Management leader and Safety & Security leader. Our job is to protect and strengthen the IKEA brand having a laser focus on risk management, business operations, data protection, health and safety. By ensuring compliance and increasing risk awareness, we protect our assets, co-workers, customers and visitors.

Our goal is to ensure compliance while having a holistic risk-based approach. We lead and develop the Norwegian IKEA organization from a strategic, operational and tactical view, built on the "Business Risk & Compliance" strategy, policies, and frameworks for IKEA. We are now searching for a new Safety & Security leader to join our Business Risk & Compliance team in Service Office (SO).
As our Safety & Security leader you will deliver subject matter expertise and guidance in the area of safety and security to provide support and secure operational excellence for IKEA Norway. You will lead and inspire a risk and compliance mind set, raise risk awareness and promote risk culture, and by doing so, safeguarding our co-workers, customer, assets, and the IKEA brand.
As our Safety and Security leader you will also: • Enable the organization to adapt, implement and operate on the global safety & security framework based on risk context, business needs and local regulations and legislation • Ensure that risks, impacting running business, are identified, assessed and treated efficiently • Collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders from the Norwegian organization as well as the global matrix • Facilitate operational risk assessments with stakeholders in all functions, develop risk treatment and monitor progress • Take part in leading, supporting and follow up on crisis management and be responsible for coordinating Critical Information Flow • Facilitate learning activities and competence network

In addition to this you need to have: • Relevant education and experience working with safety, security and accident prevention • Strong communications skills, both written and oral, and be able to speak one of the Nordic languages, as well as English • Experience from leading processes or projects • Good digital knowledge and experience from working with IT systems, such as Office and other relevant digital tools Experience from working in a large organization may be an advantage
You have the ability to: • Be structured and analytical to make well balanced decisions taking business, people and ethical perspective into consideration • Network and build relations across the organization • Manage a variety of parallel activities • Keep calm in critical situations
