Job description
  • To build and retain a long-lasting relationship with new and existing customers in a multichannel retail environment by valuing and fulfilling customer needs and expectations thereby stimulating more and more frequent visits.
  • Understanding customer motivation and expectations, and play an active role in turning them into commercial opportunities.
  • Ensuring a positive shopping experience that creates trust in the IKEA Brand before, during and after their visit. This shall happen by working in partnership with all business functions to contribute to commercial growth.
  • To work professionally and always provide helpful service to all customer at all times within the business unit as assigned.
  • Ensuring our department is fast and efficient for our customers, and cost-effective for the IKEA store.
  • Ensuring that customers' issues are handled efficiently and with empathy.
  • Actively working towards fulfilling the four tasks of the store.
  • Actively work together with other departments to continuously improve the shopping experience for customer. 
  • Always practice confident and knowledgeable approach in handling customer and make Exchange & Return process as easy as possible.
  • Empowered to solve customer complaints.
  • Ensuring know the IKEA product range and services and actively work to offer alternative solutions that meet the needs of individual customers.

Qualification
  • Candidate must possess at least Secondary/SPM/"O" Level/Pre-U in any field. 
  • Having 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is an added credit.
  • A good team player
  • Good at quickly building rapport with people from different levels.
  • Emotional resilience and possesses ability to handle conflict.
  • Able to use and take personal initiatives to make considered decisions.
