Job description

Your assignment:

  • To work professionally and always provide helpful service to all customers at all times within the business unit as assigned.
  • To assist the supervisor in handling cashier and make sure all processes regarding cash and credit cards according to the company policies.
  • Operating the cashier task with focus to ensure the best possible customer service.
  • Ensure the check-out counter is effectively equipped at all times throughout the day, clean and organised before, during and after use.
  • Support to collect and fold yellow bags.
  • Support loose hand activity especially in front of the check-out counters (Activity 4 area).
  • Ensure the store environment is safe and secure at all times for visitors and colleagues.
  • Always practice confident and knowledgeable approach in handling customers and make buying process as easy as possible at all times.
  • Offer solutions to frequently asked questions to help make a better shopping experience for customers and encourage return visits.
  • Contribute to the check-out action plan and taking ownership for my part in its delivery.
  • To optimise the relationship with the customers in order to strive sales growth and sustained long-term profitability for the company.
  • Actively work together with other departments to continuously improve the shopping experience for customers.
  • To support the department action plan as well as goals and targets given.


Your profile:

  • Possesses work experience in customer handling. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • A good team player. Good at quickly building rapport with people from different levels.
  • Emotional resilience and possesses ability to handle conflict.
  • Independent, able to use and take personal initiatives to make considered decisions.
  • Able to multi task. 
  • Enjoy to work in retail environment.
