About the job: As a Product Quality Specialist, you work pro-actively in close cooperation with your colleagues throughout the Store to secure constant customer focus on the Product Quality. You take a strong leadership against poor Product Quality by pro-actively detecting, investigating and reporting Quality issues to the IKEA supply chain. You contribute to create quality culture by making sure “love, fix or exit” approach across the store until all co-workers in the store are proud of IKEA range and to communicate Product Improvement information to co-workers to engage them and get a personal commitment for product improvement or development process.
Create Quality awareness in the store – Communicate corrective actions, Q-news and other relevant information concerning product quality in the store in an inspiring way.
Train co-workers on what quality is and how to detect and report quality issues.
Provide feedback to all in-store quality reports raised by co-workers and communicate the corrective actions achieved through raising Q-alarms.
Work proactively across the functions in the store, in close cooperation with Sales, Customer Relations and in-store logistics.
Communicate and secure the implementation of working methods related to Quality process.
Inspect, block and report goods that have potential quality problems.
Block goods according to approved requests, like Sales stop within settled time frames.
Analyse quality performance indicators on store level, act to improve them.

Retail or production experience

Self-motivated with a proven ability to work as a part of the team as well as independently
PC/computer literacy (knowledge of MS Office with strong focus on Excel).
