YOUR WORK As a Local Marketing Manager you proactively work with international, national and local market data and visitor feedback to identify changes in visitation and customer behavior. Furthermore, you are responsible for developing and implementing the local customer loyalty strategy (IKEA FAMILY), leading to converting IKEA visitors into IKEA FAMILY members and activating and engaging our existing members in order to secure a long term relationship, to return more frequently to our store and all other channels, using all appropriate media. Also the creation and roll out of strong, commercial and traffic-driving year plan, including local marketing activities (in-store and in the market) and a well-structured communication approach is part of your responsibility. To do so, you keep yourself up to date in marketing, retailing and interior design trends. Next to that you have the ability to work on strategical, tactical and operational level with a track record of getting things done! You also have a great track record of leading others (both directly and indirectly), with excellent communication, negotiation, and organization skills.
YOUR PROFILE We are looking for you with a proven ability to identify (local) market opportunities, with a solid experience in analyzing and working with consumer & market insights and who knows how to influence and work with (social) media.
You have a Bachelor or academic degree in Marketing, Commercial Economics, Business or Communication with relevant working experience.
You have 3 - 5 years working experience, including leadership experience and experience in commercial roles and/or marketing.
You have experience in the area of customer loyalty and have great knowledge of the retail business. You have worked in a multi-channel environment and know how to generate traffic through our different channels.
You manage your work and projects whilst using your ability to involve and motivate others, working closely together. You also dare to take decisions in uncertain environment when necessary.
You have excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills, and an ability to think ‘outside the box’.
You have proven experience in reaching set goals and the ability to create commitment and passion for your plans. You are also dedicated to deliver all projects according to deadline and budget.
You have knowledge of the Bucharest area in terms of marketing.
