You hold (a) degree(s) in economics / financial economics, with 5+ years’ experience in larger financial operation / institution as Macro and Financial market economist / analyst. To be successful in this role you can demonstrate cross functional work relationships, a CFA qualification is desirable. You have knowledge in following areas: • very good understanding geopolitical and social development in the world • very good Financial market and instrument knowledge • good analytic skills with corporate finance issues • cross functional working relationship, a requirement to build and develop relevant Economic and Market modelling • good knowledge about the Ingka group core businesses and the external markets A key capability is broad experience in Economic and financial economics with a very good ability writing clearly and concisely. You should have excellent and engaging presentation skills and strong organisational skills to ensure quality delivery of the various objectives. You can also master analytics and tools within Bloomberg and MS Offices software.


The Economic and Market Analyst is required to provide broad and relevant macro & micro-economic market analyses to various stakeholders within the core business of Ingka Holding B.V You will: • be responsible for delivering relevant Macro and Micro – Economic input to the Financial Risk Management work group on a quarterly basis • own and continuously develop the ‘Economic Model’, delivering quality relevant Macro Economic analysis for the 8 key Retail Markets in the Ingka Group Retail Portfolio • define and deliver micro economic and market analysis with special focus on direct and indirect competition for the Ingka Group • be responsible for delivering written research papers on the topical matter impacting the core businesses • deliver such papers in a timely manner for the Treasury and Investments councils respectively • be responsible for building and maintain a high quality Economic and Market intranet site • be responsible for delivering accurate and relevant economic and market updates to the intranet site • work closely with external stakeholders to ensure access to relevant information in a compliant way • responsible for arranging internal Economic and Market forums (web-seminar, Podcasts or physical) relevant for the core businesses • create a togetherness- where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality- in the everyday workplace, interacting with many stakeholders


The purpose of Group Corporate Finance and Tax is to provide expertise and optimise exposure in Corporate Finance, Tax, Treasury and Insurance matters, balancing risks and opportunities in the market, support the business in its growth, while ensuring a strong position as good corporate citizen.
