We are looking for a background or strong interest in managing Retail environments and creating platforms that form a core part of a Retail Operations chain, serving millions of IKEA customers every day.

We are looking for individuals who can become a trusted partner for technical and business focused stakeholders. We have a huge vision to deliver and we are looking for someone who can come into the role, establish themselves rapidly and start building new products to augment and replace multiple processes & systems.

Your Will:

• Have responsibility over a large part of our in-store operations system estate, which is undergoing a sizable strategic change.
• Maximize the business results and customer value resulting from the development and deployment of digital products by making trade-off decisions as needed
• Support the Product Manager in developing the product roadmap
• Ensure you have a good understanding of the product roadmap and vision as defined by the Product Manager to inform the creation and prioritization of the backlog
• Actively manage the digital product backlog including clearly expressing product backlog items and prioritizing items based on business goals and optimization of work in the agile team
• Involvement in sprint planning meetings to help provide clarity and elaborate features and user stories to help the team better understand the requirements and how success will be measured
• Define and deliver acceptance criteria and the ���Definition of Done’ working collaboratively with the rest of the team
• Work in-depth with our customers to understand and qualify their needs and requirements, ensuring they are included and integrated into the product as needed
• Act as a subject matter expert for other Product teams, providing insight, context and additional information as needed to help understanding of what is required of the systems and capabilities.
• Working collaboratively with other Product Owners & Managers across INGKA Digital to refine the backlog and identify cross dependencies
• Work cross-functionally to ensure that the agile team has what it needs and remove blockers that prevent the agile team to maximize the delivery of digital products
• Work across initiatives within IKEA Group, contributing to a successful combined digital product deployments


We’re looking for candidates with the following background:
• Strong Stakeholder Managers, whom have experience working in complex and/or international organisations
• Proven Product Owner experience, owning developing and deploying software products in an agile environment
• Approaches product management from a view of the customer/user and is motivated by the chance to improve the experiences of our customers
• Experience of Retail either eCommerce/Physical or in Supply Chain/Fulfillment activities is not essential but a big plus
• Experience of POS, Warehouse Management, Inventory Management & Supply Chain Management systems is also a big plus
• Has experience launching digital products across multiple countries with high stakeholder influence and multi-national complexities
• Experience with Agile Product Management Tools & Processes (JIRA, MIRO, Confluence, Roadmunk etc)
• Experience of working with iterative, agile product development and deployment teams, including key events and objects.
• Ability to build strong and meaningful interpersonal relationships. Enabling you to collaborate with and advise stakeholders. Experience within a large multi-national organization is desired.
• Fluency in English is a must

This role is for an indefinite contract and is located in Amsterdam.
