Job description

As an IT architect in IKEA Components, you will be part of designing our future IT landscape by creating IT architectures and transition roadmaps to secure that our IT solutions can support the business requirements of today and tomorrow; balancing short-term needs with long-term priorities to ensure sound investments.

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating concrete, robust and appropriate IT architectures and transition roadmaps for pre-studies, projects and other change initiatives.
  • Developing and documenting appropriate artifacts to describe the IT landscape.
  • Formulating and anchoring of key IT architecture goals, principles and design patterns.
  • Proactively following market trends and advice on opportunities for how new technology can impact our business.
  • Leading architecture-related activities within the assigned scope.
  • Ensuring alignment with and contribute to the development of the overall architecture capability at IKEA.
