The Purchasing & Logistics Areas are the home for co-workers and business units with the responsibility to develop, lead and secure an optimal support structure for all business units within IKEA Supply. 

About the job
As Global Quality Compliance Manager for the Purchasing & Logistics Area’s you report to the Global Purchasing & Logistics Area (PLA) Manager and you are part of the Global PLA Management team.
In this role, you lead the Quality direction work for the Purchasing & Logistics Area's and secure execution. In collaboration with the different business units you contribute to deliver products satisfying our customer needs at the lowest total cost and you lead how to verify compliance requirements, standards and working methods. You are inspired by our culture & values and you empower teams and individual co-workers to deliver towards the Quality direction. We focus on re-inforce pro-activeness and develop Quality compliance together with all stake holders in a complex environment.

As Global Quality Compliance Manager you:
• Lead and develop the Quality direction for the PLA’s with focus on quality compliance, decide common priorities and goals, based on the IKEA direction and relevant strategies.
• Are an active contributor to the IKEA Supply Quality matrix and secure alignment around Quality priorities and goals with all other relevant stakeholders.
• People management responsibility for all direct reporting co-workers.
• Lead and contribute to the competence agenda for the Quality compliance matrix.
• Contribute to all competence related (global) processes and you are an active contributor for development and succession for the Quality compliance matrix.
• Develop/contribute to better ways of working, processes, frameworks, tools to share good practices and optimize utilization of technical specialist competencies in the PLA dimension.
• Contribute to KPI and PI work, related to quality.

About you
To be successful in this role you have
• Very good understanding of the IKEA Strategic Landscape, the IKEA Business model and relevant business plans.
• Holistic view and realise how compliance is an enabler for good business.
• Good knowledge about IKEA products and packaging requirements, quality tools and the compliance process on global and regional level.
• Excellent communication skills and genuine interest to lead people and competence development.
• Ability to deliver results through involving, leading, developing and inspiring people in a remote environment – act as manager, coach and mentor.
• Very good knowledge of different stakeholder roles and responsibilities in the IKEA value chain.
• Energy, drive and commitment to inspire, influence and collaborate with different stakeholders to reach common goals and deliver business results.
• Energy, drive and commitment to deliver better products that exceeds customer expectations.
