The Product Communication Assignment Area will as IKEA’s communication partner, lead and develop a clear communication offer for all IKEA trademark users and hold end-to-end accountability for all product communication assignments to make the product sellable, connected to IKEA communication plans. Product communication assignment includes but is not limited to product: pictures; films; stories/text; 3D models & conversion; assembly & advising instructions; law & warning; on-package design; in-store material; among others.
The Product Pictures & Films Assignment Area leads product communication assignments with end-to-end accountability, relating to pictures and films that make products sellable.
We’re now looking for someone who knows about Film Asset Pipeline Management and your title will be Assignment Development Manager in the Product Pictures and Films Assignment Area.
With business focus, lead and manage the Assignment Development Team to support the delivery of product pictures and films assets. Managing the development and implementation of innovative solutions and workflows aiming to enable production processes and scalability by driving requirements on API's and technical solutions that delivers to a positive impact of the business and strengthening the IKEA brand.
As an Assignment Development Manager you will.
Lead and manage people to develop, perform and deliver within their communication assignment as high performing teams, securing the necessary short- and long-term development, recruitment and succession plans.
With business focus, lead and manage the Assignment Development Team to support the delivery of product pictures and films assets.
Managing the development and implementation of innovative solutions and workflows aiming to enable production processes and scalability by driving requirements on API's and technical solutions.
Enable competences to focus on communication’s creative processes while increasing productions and workflows efficiency.
Meet the needs of today and tomorrow by leading the necessary transformational changes to stay at the forefront of the costumer journey and consumer experiences through emerging new trends, technologies, 3D and awareness of AI/Machine learning, and communication methods.
Act as a bridge between the Product Pictures & Films (PP&F) Assignment Area and IT development operations to understand and capture strategic insights of current and future assignment needs that can be used to improve or overcome challenges in the production work streams and related pipelines.
Lead with a business- & creative approach, with the aim to have a positive and long-lasting impact on how customers consume and experience the IKEA brand and its offer through the communication we develop.
With People and Business in mind you have a passion for Communication and to develop pipelines with the latest technology. You are goal and delivery oriented with a passion for creative & operational excellence, developing and maximizing business performance and output.
You will need:
Experience in leading and managing multi-diverse people, creative production teams and competences.
A university degree in Economics, Business/Brand development, Marketing, Communications or equivalent.
Proven experience in business management for a sustainable assignment.
Extensive experience of developing and implementing communication solutions and assets through scalable and automated production capabilities.
+5 years of professional experience within Communication, Media or Retail industries.
Experience in modern 3D production and automation workflows (e.g. Pixar, USD) and familiar with 3D software as 3DsMax, Maya, Cinema4D, blender, and/or in image postproduction pipelines such as Nuke, Adobe or Houdini. Understanding of real time assets used in AR, VR, and/or XR.
Up-to-date knowledge of today’s Omni-channel landscape, market and industry trends.
