That’s what we call “Meeting Places”.
Live Arena is an exciting project within Ingka Centres where we explore, develop and try out different events and activities like concerts, markets and conferences to create a vibrant place for great experiences.
As our Event Production Leader, you are a key player in our team to plan and execute events and activities at Live Arena on Älmhult Meeting Place. You create and deliver safe, profitable and viable events that gives great customer experience and makes visitors come back.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have experience from event- and project management and have deep knowledge of technical and flow design for events with competence in using tools like Autocad, Vectorworks and Vmix.
Example of your responsibilities: • Accountable for leading and supporting the production of any event through all the phases of an event • Design and plan solutions for e.g. people flow, technical equipment, logistical flow for each event • Accountable for procurement of related products and services to deliver to plans made within given budget frames • Coordinate and give input to security planning of each event • Build up a centre of expertise and a library of event layouts and plans (people flow, technical set-ups, logistical flow) and offer as a service to other events / event organisers • Project lead a number of events during the year involving: planning, sales, purchase, marketing, execution and follow-up with budget responsibility for the event. Lead and coordinate 3rd party partners before and during the events.

This role belongs to Operations Domain at Ingka Centres. The Purpose of our function is to optimize the Meeting Place experience for the many people to drive visitation to the Meeting Places and IKEA and deliver sustainable business growth for our Partners and Meeting Places.
You will report to Susanne Koerfer, Meeting Place Manager, and your place of work will be in Älmhult. Workhours will be also during evenings and weekends.
This position is temporary until 2023-08-31.
