IKEA Purchasing and Logistics is the organization that forms a link between the factory floor and the products on IKEA store shelves. We work with 1600 Suppliers all over the world for home furnishing, transport, logistics and distribution services, components and food. Supply Chain Operations (SCO) organisation with its 700 co-workers connects our customers with IKEA products in a simple, affordable and sustainable way.

Job description

As Business Navigator you will perform first level of business analysis to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks, and present them in an understandable and actionable manner. Identify current and future business needs and determine relevant information/reporting required to provide needed information.

You will support with accurate and relevant reporting to get a fact-based picture of the business situation as base for decision. Secure data quality of business information. Produce ad hoc reports based on specific category needs. At any time, act as an ambassador of IKEA.You will report to the Supply Operations Manager. 


Qualification

We believe that you are a person with lots of energy, drive and dynamics, you have enthusiasm for business and people and an entrepreneurship thinking while being strong in the fact based analysis. You want to drive the business further and have an end to end ownership for the supply chain part as you need to understand the business well to be able to support and navigate in the right direction. So of course we want you to feel passion for numbers and how these are translated into a communication language that brings attention where needed, often via story telling. 

For us at IKEA, it is important that you share our values, such as cost-consciousness, renew and improve and caring for people and planet. You are analytical and structured and to continuously looking to improve ways of working comes natural to you.

We believe that you have a University degree in Business/Finance/Economics or a related field. You have previous experience  in controlling and business performance management. You also have financial management with at least 5 years of experience.
Moreover you have a strong ability to prioritize, provide clear directions and multi-task, and the ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English.

To be successful in this position, you should be able to apply business insight, knowledge and leverage best practices to achieve organisational goals and objectives. With you strong communication skills, you influence decisions and create energy and commitment within the organisation as well as creating relationships both within and outside of the own organisation.
